TANSEL ALI BIOGRAPHY
Tansel Ali is one of the world’s most successful memory athletes. Having won four Australian Memory Championship titles, he holds many national memory records, which include remembering the most names and faces in five minutes. As a world leading memory expert, Tansel is an in-demand speaker on the topics of self-development, memory, and learning. He is a consultant and coach to organizations, executives, entrepreneurs, and celebrities helping them work smarter, reduce stress, and achieve results fast. He is the author of the best-selling book on memory techniques, The Yellow Elephant.
In 2010 he was approached by a PR firm to create exposure for Yellow Pages display advertising by memorizing two phone books. Tansel took on the challenge and memorized over 2300 business names and 20,000+ digits of phone numbers from both Yellow Pages phone books in only 24 days. The memory feat went viral and the campaign was a huge success. Tansel’s memory coaching was featured on the award-winning TV documentary, ‘Redesign My Brain’ with Todd Sampson. With Tansel’s training and guidance, Todd was able to compete in the World Memory Championships in London and memorize an entire shuffled deck of cards with only a few weeks of training.
In 2014 Tansel founded the world’s first School Mind Games. The event attracted three schools that were trained in memory, mind mapping and speed reading skills. Upon Tansel’s training the students read a 200-page book in 15 minutes, mapped out all the book contents on a wall, presented the content back in great detail, and for good measure, memorize an entire 11-minute TEDx talk word-for-word! Tansel knows what it is to accomplish success and his passion is helping others to make a positive impact in the world. He is a celebrity ambassador for Crohn’s and Colitis Australia helping others to live a better lifestyle. He is also an award-winning multicultural ambassador for the Australian Football League (AFL) promoting cultural diversity within the community.
